My most recent photographs focus on the Japanese concept “wabi-sabi”, which is an aesthetics that is sometimes described as one of beauty that is "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete". The photographs are taken in an instinctive and intuitive way. Only one or two photographs are taken and they are not manipulated with software. This procedure follows the intention to show the originality of the motive or situation. With unusual perspectives and close-ups I consciously steer the views of the beholder on often unnoticed details and simple materials.
